Frequently Asked Questions

Where do we meet?

We will begin our tours in front of Rocket Fizz at 302 Arch Street near the corner of 3rd and Arch, across the street from the Starbucks. Sometimes our trolley may be parked across the street, but you can always check-in at Rocket Fizz. The "Stand-Up & Drink" tour will meet at Yards Brewing Company.

Where does the tour end?

Right where it begins at the corner of 3rd and Arch.

How long is the tour?

Each tour varies.

BYOB lasts 2 to 2 ½ hours, depending on timing and how many stops the group wants

to make.

Philly Phables Walking Tours last 1 ½ hours.

Tavern Tours last 2 hours, which includes three 20-minute stops at local taverns. However,

we never want our guests to feel rushed, so if you’re having fun at a tavern and want to

stay a bit longer, we’re happy to accommodate you. It’s not uncommon for guests to

request double the time at our stops.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

For BYOB Tours, feel free to bring drinks and snacks onboard with you! We do request that you keep alcohol to beer and wine only.

For Walking Tours, it's smart to bring comfortable walking shoes and, weather pending, an umbrella.

What places do we visit?

Walking Tours:

We cover all of the major landmarks in Philly’s famed “Old City” including:

Independence Hall & the Liberty Bell, Carpenter’s Hall, the Betsy Ross House, the

Declaration House, Christ Church, Elfreth’s Alley, Christ Church Burial Ground and

the grave of Ben Franklin and the Ben Franklin Post Office & Printing Press.

BYOB Tour:

Everything on our walking tours and more!  We make stops at City Hall, Boathouse Row &  the Valley of Heroes, and of course, the famed “Rocky Steps” at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Time permitting, we like to throw in another surprise or two as well. Aside from the stops, we’ll pass all of the major landmarks in the city.

Can we bring food/drink?

Absolutely! We want you to feel at home on our tours. We’ll have cold bottled water for our guests but feel free to bring whatever else you’d like. We do request that you keep alcohol to beer and wine only.
